Kelly Britton

PhD Student BCMB, 2023-present

I grew up in Bend, Oregon and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to get my bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Colorado State University. As an undergraduate I worked in the lab of Dr. Jeffrey Hansen vetting an in vitro model of heterochromatin. I started my PhD at UC Riverside in fall of 2023 and joined the Ninova lab because of my interest in epigenetics and chromatin. When I’m not in the lab I enjoy roller-skating, reading, and going to concerts. I hope to one day become a professor.
